Gordon Brown … New World Order
At the G20 conference this week (2009) Britain’s Prime Minister, Gordon Brown triumphantly announces that he thinks “a New World Order is emerging.“Sigh! How much of this are we going to take from these power hungry elitist? Listen to this dude make reference to the Crash of 1929 and how “it took 15 years for the world to come together to rebuild and renew our economies.” However, he simply doesn’t mention that the policies that he and President Obama are advocating right now, are the very same policies that President F.D.R. used to “rebuild and renew our economies” after the Crash of 1929 … which resulted in what became The Great Depression! Prime Minister Brown also fails to mention that it was WWII that allowed the markets of the world to bounce back; rather than government intervention. Government intervention is what made it worst. Simply put: You cannot fix a capitolist “problem” with a socialist “solution”. ~K.S.
Excellent point! It has always been the strategy of power-hungry leaders to use crisis to enlarge the size of government. The people are more receptive to it and are thinking emotionally rather than rationally.
